Hawks or Piston ?

Another interesting question: Three teams "Bulls", "Power Rangers" & "Rocks" are into the semifinals but there is a strong battle going on between "Hawks" & "Pistons" only one of the team will make it into the semi's but which team it would be ? Any Guesses ?. I have created a Poll for you to guess which team is going to make it, come forward and vote your favorite team. I think Hawks have more chances than piston as they have 3 more matches to play and Piston has only one which any how they have to win to be in the race and the interesting thing is that they have the match with Hawks only, if hawks beat power ranger then they will be in semis, so piston has to pray that hawks loose match with PWR and BULLS, and piston outplays Hawks to be in semis. INTERESTING same situation as INDIAN TEAM :)

Reaching end of League

Last weekend witnessed some very interesting matches, where Hawks Just touched the victory after being heavily opposed by MOSTERS, in second match on saturday PISTON ouplayed rocks and won by a comfortable margin of 10 runs.

Sunday:
Again Monsters came back strongly by defeating PISTON comfortably hence reducing the chances of pistons to make it ti semifinals.

In second match Rocks came back fighting chased 56 made by warriors comfortably in 6.3 overs and made it to semifinals.

Weekend Matches

The weekend saw three good matches (but less spectators). Power Rangers beat Rocks in the first one, Pistons beat Warriors and Bulls beat Monsters.

The details about the score will be posted soon on the blog, so let me give a summary of each these (as each these need special mention for one or other reason) :)

Power Rangers vs Rocks - this was surely a test of stamina for both these good teams. At one stage the Rocks seemed to get over the opponents to win the match but some late hitting by Ramandeep (remember him for his knock against Warriors) ensured Power Rangers were still a tough team to get through.

Pistons vs Warriors - Warriors were one short of their 10 players & thanks to Ajay Sir to providing them a good support by joining them for the match. So with sir on the team, the Warriors seemed to have got the confidence and started with a Maiden wicket over. Things were going equally balanced till the 9th over of the Pistons innings, when Warriors gave away 28 of their last over to get a win target of 104 runs. Warriors started good but lost it in the end. Pistons win their first match of the tournament.

Bulls vs Monsters - Usain Bolt made two world records within 7 days and so was the intention of the Bulls. Having beaten Power Rangers, they trashed Monsters (Monster was 27 all out) in almost similar fashion. Umesh took the second hattrick of the tournament and proved Bulls cannot be just taken for granted. What a batting / bowling / fielding display by the whole team. Special mention of Sony John, who proved a brilliant runner (for injured batsman Sunil Verma) and took few brilliant catches.

Are the Bulls going to make a Hat-Trick of hattrick wickets in their next match? Are they are getting more and more invincible each passing day? This is really getting exciting each passing day... We are enjoying a lot.... hope you all are :)

Match 10 - Power Rangers vs Bulls

Truly what a performance by Bulls here. This should really be marked as a great performance display by them. In our earlier posts, we were assuming the Power Rangers to be a great winner this time but BULLS showed they are still in the game.

A good performance during their innings and Bulls were able to make 86 in their 10 overs. Once they were on the field, there was some great bowling and fielding efforts by this team. Special mention to Sumit Narang for taking the first HAT-TRICK of the tournament. At one point the Power Rangers were 17 for 7 but some backup by the tailenders Naresh and Anmol took them to a respectable score. Though the loss became inevitable once the Bulls took on the field.

Friends its really getting exciting day on day and many good players are emerging. No team is leaving a stone unturned to prove their skills. So now what do you think... are BULLS going to hit the Bull's Eye this time... Lets wait & watch.

tillt then ENJOY CRICKET :)

Match 9 - Monsters vs Warriors

Recovering from their previous loss to the Power Rangers, the Warriors put on a good show against the Monsters. But Monsters displayed a better batting (as well as bowling) to clinch this match.

Monsters vs Warriors
