So this year season began for smartData Premier League and it began greatly! ROCKS put on a great offensive display with some really smashing out of the boundary strokes by Nitish and a good innings by the captain Rakesh Pant. And the MONSTERS really greatly with brilliants efforts from Sanjeev Ranjan but ended up as the losing side.
And before all this everyone was sweating around the practice matches as well as the whole selection procedure. And what a line it has been now: 7 teams, new rules, female players, Nagpur people joining in, and above all BIGGER PRIZE MONEY.
So everyone, keep looking for the posts as smartData's cricketing talent is again here to win hearts by their game spirits, team work and above all effortless efforts :)

It was a great start of SPL match the start was delayed by one hour but still both team were very keen to win the match to get the advantage, it was a close match but rocks pulled it nicely from the monsters who were inching towards the victory,once sanjeev's wicket was down, they had little to fight, but some useful contributions were made at the top by openers jatin / Ashwani.
ReplyDeleteBefore that it was a one man show by Nitish Jaiswal who made 77 runs with 9 Huge Sixes, it was a pleasant display of batting, everything else looked like nothing in front of the splendid performance.
All in all a good and close match won by ROCKS
